Manjimup Golf Club is part of the Manjimup Country Club, situated on the outskirts of Manjimup in the heart of the south west of Western Australia. The Manjimup Golf Course consists of 18 holes with grass greens and reticulated fairways. It runs three major golfing events throughout the year: Kristoffersson Cup in February, Manjimup Shootout in May, and the JB Ipsen Memorial Event in October.
In 1991 Henri Nouwen House was first established in Western Australia as the South West branch of Holyoake, offering support and education to families affected by alcohol or drug dependency.
Today 'Henri's' operates independently to provide a number of support programs and services to individuals and families experiencing crises of all kinds: alcoholism, drug dependency, relationship breakdown, domestic violence, physical or sexual abuse, or loss of a loved one.

Manuscript preparation: The Ross Swamp Tragedy 1909
A historical record of the Ross Swamp Tragedy 1909, Bridgetown, Western Australia, as researched by Clive and Maureen Thurston in 1997.
This is a 27 page booklet about Donald Ross and his father, Colin Ross, who were potato farmers, known as "grafters", on a property about 14 miles (22 kms) south of Bridgetown from 1905 until 1909.
Donald Ross shot his father and then took his own life in January 1909.
The extraordinary trench that he dug through hard rock to drain the swamp still remains today. In parts it is over 3 metres deep and less than 1 metre wide.

Manuscript preparation: Four Towns - Sweet Memories
A 160 page book printed by Drum Print of Mandurah, Western Australia was produced in 2006 to raise funds for Henri Nouwen House. It is made up of favourite recipes of local women, and includes black and white photographs of local landmarks, making it an ideal memento of a visit to the Blackwood Valley, Western Australia. The four towns are Balingup, Bridgetown, Greenbushes and Nannup. Recipes include biscuits, loaves and scones, slices and health bars, cakes, desserts, preserves and cordials. The first print run of 1000 sold out within three months of production and it has since been reprinted. Contact Henri Nouwen House or email me for copies.
